It has been a long time since the last Miasma. I am back in the swing of things and plan to produce a few Miasma issues each year including more articles and an auction. Please reconnect with me if you are looking for certian items not in the current auction, I have thousands of duplicate stamps, hundreds of FDCs, and a few dozen extra commercial covers.
Please let me know if you have an article to include in the next Miasma. It could be about an interesting item you found at a stamp show or online or something else.
I have already started some new articles for the next Miasma which should be out in June/July.
If you had previously sent me an article for submission, I will connect with you for the next Miasma.
Auction 21:
There are lots of items in Auction 21 and hopefully you can add some items to your collection. This auction has some Rare First Day Covers and many Velvetone First Day Covers which are also hard to find.
Membership Update:
There are 130 members from 27 countries (22 new member since the last Miasma).
Always Looking for Articles: Please consider writing an article about some part of your malaria collection, or how you got started collecting malaria stamps, or about a doctor in the malaria field that can have supporting stamps with it, or new varieties that you have found, etc. All I need is the text and some images and I can put together the web page. A text file, MS Word file, and many other formats will work. If you have an exhibit that has interesting malaria items in it, please send scans of the exhibit pages and I can add them to the site.
