Malaria Philatelists International Meeting: The APS AmeriStamp Expo stamp show will be held in Riverside, CA on February 13-15, 2015.
There will be three anti-malaria exhibits from members Larry Fillion and Mike Birrer. I was hoping to meet with some MPI members
at the stamp show so we can chat about malaria stamps and/or about other philatelic matters and also just meet and greet. If members plan to
attend and want to meet, please contact me through email at malariastamps@yahoo.com or through the
Contact Form and I can coordinate some meetup times.
More information on the show is at http://stamps.org/AmeriStamp-Expo-ASE.
Membership Update:
There are 85 members from 19 countries (1 new since last Miasma).
Always Looking for Articles: Please consider writing an article about some part of your malaria collection, or how you got started collecting malaria stamps, or about a doctor in the malaria field that can have supporting stamps with it, or new varieties that you have found, etc. All I need is the text and some images and I can put together the web page. A text file, MS Word file, and many other formats will work. If you have an exhibit that has interesting malaria items in it, please send scans of the exhibit pages and I can add them to the site.
