Marketplace - The Most Expensive Anti-Malaria FDC

EBay seller likablerecycleable ran an auction starting on October 5, 2014 and ended on October 12, 2014. The item number was 201186581111 and was titled
"SURINAME STAMPS, POSTAL COVERS, 1952 SET OF 2 ANTI-MALARIA (E)". The item consisted of two Surinam malaria FDCs. Surinam issued two anti-malaria on May 5, 1962.
The bottom FDC is just a regular FDC which is
pretty easily found on eBay and at other internet sites. The top FDC is an ArtCraft FDC. A collector bought an unserviced cachet from ArtCraft and sent it over to Surinam
to have it serviced. This FDC is most likely unique. A few collectors purchased unserviced cachets from ArtCraft and had them serviced at a dozen or so postal administrations.
I figured the item would sell for $35.00 to $40.00 but I really wanted to make sure that I won it. So I put in a crazy snipe bid of $150.00 (I am larrylarry on eBay).
Not only did I not win the item but another bidder bid $155.00 and the winner bid even higher. There is no way in knowing how much the winning bidder put in for a bid.
The names of the bidder is also hidden to protect the identities of the bidders for privacy reasons. I do not know if the bidder is an MPI member.
