November 16th-18th, 2012, CHICAGOPEX 2012 held a
literature competition. Mike Birrer and I packaged up all of the latest malaria handbooks on the MPI site
onto a CD and also created a nice CD wrapper. We sent off the entry and waited for the analysis. It received a Vermeil. Not bad for the first time out. Personally,
I think that the medium of a CD is not the correct medium. It should either be printed and items should be checked off as they are collected or it should be seen
on the MPI website so there are easier ways to view the PDFs and can be better searched - just my two cents. Either way, below is the ribbon/medal. I think that
Mike and I will try again for other competitions.
