Checklist - FDCs In Mint Condition
(Published: September, 2008, Volume 8, Number 3, Issue #26) (Table Of Contents)(Author: Larry Fillion)
A few months back, I picked up a group of unused/mint FDCs from Switzerland on eBay. In the mix, were the two
covers below with cachets that were used for Switzerland Scott 415 issued in 1962.
I remembered that a few years earlier, I had picked up some other mint FDCs that were used for Lebanon and Libya. The two
Lebanon covers below are very similar but the 2nd cover has the name of the country added at the top of the cover. These are
the only unused/mint FDCs that I have seen over the years. This is hopefully only the beginning of a list of malaria unused/mint FDCs.
Cachet For Switzerland Scott 415 with Mosquito/Symbol In Red And Green
Cachet For Switzerland Scott 415 with Trumpet In Purple
Cachet For Lebanon Scott C349-C350 with Plane Spraying over Swamp (no country name)
Cachet For Lebanon Scott C349-C350 with Plane Spraying over Swamp
Cachet For United Kingdom of Libya Scott 218-219 with Plane Spraying over Swamp
