Earlier Article: 2016 Summer Mosquito Advertisements The summer of 2017 was another great year for receiving mosquito advertisements through the mail. It appears that the area I live in now has more companies which spray for mosquitoes. And of course the companies do more than just spray for mosquitoes. They offer other services like control for ticks, bees, mice and others.

Valpak is a company which sends out junk mail in the form of colorful envelopes full of coupons for local companies. I usually do not open this junk mail because there is never anything I am interested in but I did this year and I was happy I did. This first mailing is for April.

Valpak sent out this second mailing during early May. When I saw it in the mailbox, I grabbe dit and flipped it over and I was very surprised to see that the whole backside was an advertisment for Mosquito Squad.

The differences between the April and the May inserts is on Side 2, the "VPDMS, Inc. 4/2017" is "VPDMS, Inc. 5/2017". Also, the May mailing had another advertisment from a new company Eastern Pine.

Another company called Clipper Magazine also sends out coupons for local companies but in the format of a mini magazine. Once again, I would normally throw this junk mail out but on the front was a full page advertisment for Mosquito Squad.

For the past fifteen years, I have been using Trugreen for spraying my yard three times a year for ticks. This year, the mosquitoes started early so I signed up for their mosquito spraying program. Below is one of my bills and also an advertisment to sign up (which was received after we already signed up).

This is a new company this summer. Mosquito Ranger is servicing eastern Massachussetts and there is an office about 15 minutes from my house.
